Our
equine focus is to provide our horses with a solid ground training
background so they may be comfortable under saddle and in
harness and therefore confident to perform in any discipline.
Each of our colts are given extensive ground training so that
they are well mannered and easy to handle.
We are located 45 minutes west of Edmonton, Alberta, on an 80
acre farm north of the town of Onoway.

Farms is very excited to introduce BAXTALO ROMEO Canada's First
Drum Horse Stallion. The Drum Horse is a rare breed, used by
the Queen's Calvary to carry large kettle drums that weigh over
300 pounds. Drum horses are known for their noble elegance and
quiet disposition. This is why they are chosen for the Queen's
processions as they must remain quiet in large crowds while
being controlled with the reins to the stirrups and strong
enough to carry the drums and the drummer. Drum Horses stand at
least 16 HH in height and utilizing Gypsy Cob, Clydesdale, Shire
or Friesian. They are an athletic heavy riding and driving horse
with lovely feathering and mostly pinto in color. Drums are
suited for dressage, driving, eventing, trail, saddleseat and
great family horses with their quiet mannerism.
BAXTALO ROMEO is a 4 year old stallion by the famous Gypsy
stallion BSG Talisen..
